Valenzuela’s official Christmas Tree dubbed as “Tuloy ang Progreso” Tree was officially lit after two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, December 1 at Valenzuela City People’s Park, marking the Yuletide season in the City. This year, the 50-foot-tall tree is adorned with spheres of light and is being dedicated to the contribution of more than 8,000 city hall employees to the continuation of good governance in the city and its progress. Loyalty cash incentives were given to employees who reached 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40-year milestones in civil service along with cash raffles amounting to PhP 280,000 in total.
